LAND ROVER AMONGST THE TOP FIVE NAMEPLATES IN J.D. POWER AND ASSOCIATES 2011 AUTOMOTIVE PERFORMANCE, EXECUTION AND LAYOUT (APEAL) STUDY

Beirut, September 2011 – Mana Automotive - the exclusive dealer of the Land Rover brand in Lebanon - has proudly announced that Land Rover has once again earned a place amongst the top five nameplates in the world. The breaking news was revealed in the J.D. Power and Associates 2011 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) StudySM, which showed an improved status for the automotive brand in 2011 as Land Rover achieved an overall score of 841.

The APEAL study – which is based on owner evaluations of more than 80 vehicles attributes - examines design and performance characteristics across 32 brand nameplates that make a new vehicle a delight to own and drive.

For the fourth consecutive year and as per the J.D. POWER APEAL Study, Land Rover has witnessed considerable score improvements elevating the brand from 5th place in 2010 to 4th this year. The global brand, Range Rover, has also been the award recipient for the best Large Premium Crossover/SUV category with a score of 856, as well as received high scores in vehicle interior, vehicle exterior, driving dynamics, visibility and driving safety categories.

The 2011 APEAL Study is based on responses gathered between February 2011 and May 2011 from more than 73,000 purchasers and lessees of new 2011 model-year cars and trucks who were surveyed after the first 90 days of ownership.
